A Lil About Me
I have been using my online handle, Brightan Shiny, for over 25 years now. This reflects who I am as a person as well as what I’m about in general. I am a very bright and shiny person with a great sense of humor and a love of the world and all its people. I have a great sense of responsibility, commitment, ambition, drive, fun, honesty, openness, professionalism, ethics, adventure, and artistic flair as well. I am an over-achiever at heart and I can guarantee that I will put my all and then some into every project I involve myself in. I am also a very helpful, playful, lively, inclusive, and fun-loving personality. I want everyone to feel happy, at ease, cared for, understood, and excited to be part of any environment I’m in.
I like to think that I am very fun to look at with colorful hair, tattoos, piercings, and a friendly smile. I’ve curated a very non-traditional, informal, and artistic look for myself that is representative of the past lives I’ve lived that have shaped me. I studied many types of art and fine arts for many years; I have studied fashion, design, body art, and countless other ways that humans have chosen to express themselves since time immemorial. I love a fresh canvas! I feel this also applies to the canvas of a soundscape. The stereo and surround sound canvas is painted with audio that can affect our emotional states and sense of being in as much of the same way as a painting that resonates with the deepest parts of our souls. It’s safe to say that I appreciate all art and this includes what we can do aurally.
